Nepal is a landlocked country in South Asia in Himalayas. This country has a diverse landscape of fertile plains, subalpine forested hills and top eight of world top ten high mountains including of Mount Everest- highest mountain on Earth.  The word Nepal is first came in texts from Vedic period. Pashupatinath Temple: One of the oldest & sacred temples is counted among top tourist attractions and is located on fringes of Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal. River Bagmati flows near to temple. Lord Pashupatinath is also regarded as Lord Shiva. Tourists visit this place to gain blessings of divine deity. Maha Shivaratri festival is held every year & is visited by more than millions of people from all over world. It was built in 5th century by Lichhavi King Shupuspa.

Boudanath: A prominent pilgrimage center located at 7 km northeast of Kathmandu. Travelers visit this spiritual place for meditation. Key attraction of stupa is its magnificent Stupa and is largest spherical stupa in Nepal. This is also known as Khasa Chaitya and has a massive mandala. Boudanath stupa is famous for its largest unique structure as well as heritage sites of UNESCO.





• Nagarkot: Located near to Kathmandu Valley. It is a famous tourist spot offering compelling Himalayan views including of Mt Everest on North Eastern side. Nagarkot is a place to see magnificent sunrise & sunset views and get rejoice with natural beauty of various mountain ranges. Key attractions of this place are trekking, mountain biking, stunning views of Himalayas and dense pine tree forests.

Pokhra Valley: Thisone is referred as jewel of Nepal tourism. This valley is nestled amidst the Annapurna Himalayan Range and is second largest valley in Nepal. Tourist came to explore nature’s marvels. The poon hill is best place to visit here.  Take amusement of boating, rafting and trekking. Key attractions Pokhra valley are Verdant forests, blue skies, caves, waterfalls, valley of Orchids, Massif Glaciers and majestic views of three mountains- Mt Manslu, Mt Dhaulagiri and Mt Annapurna

• Mahendra Gufa: Located to north of Pokhara. It has a dark and cavernous cave which is known for stalactites and stalagmites. The picturesque structure of cave has a statue of Lord Shiva inside it, which makes it a great tourist spot for photography.

Lumbini: Hub of famous tourist places in Nepal. It is birthplace of Lord Buddha. Lumbini is perfect place for meditation and a holiest place in world for people following Buddhism. The temples & monuments built here are highly represents Buddhist architecture. It is stated that Lord Shiva was born in year 623 BC in Lumbini, southern part of Nepal. Key attractions are Ashokan Pillar, Buddhist temples, the Japan Peace Stupa, Bodhi Tree, Lumbini Museum.

Swayambhu Temple:  Known as Monkey temple is located atop of a conical shaped hill is one of renowned holy religious shrines in Nepal. It is an ancient religious architecture has many legends and famed in Buddhism followers. This temple was built by great grandfather of famous King Manadeva in 5th century. Get information about temple from inscriptions made in walls. Key attractions are golden shire, huge Tibetan prayer wheel and painted Buddha statues.

Chitwan National Park: One of the UNESCO world heritage sites for Rhinos in this park. Nepal is a natural abode of wildlife because of its tropical monsoon climate. It was the first national park built in established in the year 1973 and one of the best places for jungle safari in Nepal.  Key attractions are rhinoceros, freshwater dolphins and sloth bears.

• Davis Falls: A famous natural waterfall located in Pokhara. Name of fall is taken from a Switzerland tourist Davi. This falls is called as Patale Chango, underground waterfall. Water passes through a cave Gupteshwor Mahadev, attracts lots of visitors due its historic significance.

• Phewa Lake: A noted freshwater lake located in southern Pokhara city. It is a semi-natural and second largest lake in Nepal. It is a largest lake in Gandaki Pradesh and famous for visited huge number of tourist around the year. Take amusement of boating in sunset.

• International Mountain Museum: This museum is visited by many numbers of tourists during the whole year. There are three exhibitions in museum referred as Hall of Great Himalayas, Hall of Fame and Hall of World. It has a great historical significance.

• Sagarmatha National Park: Located in north-east Nepal and is encircled by Mount Everest and many other lofty peaks, deep ravines and Himalayan glaciers. It is full of diverse flora and fauna because of its stunning landscapes. This Park provides homage to more than thousand of rare to endangered bird species including Himalayan Monal, Snow-cock, Yellow-billed Chough, Blood Pheasant, and the Red-billed Chough.
